In this study we are amazed to see that God is so keen that we trust His promises He ratifies them with an oath. We see how He makes a covenant with Abraham and we learn about covenants by comparing them to contracts. And best of all, we see how graciously God undertakes to bear the consequences of death if His covenant is broken.
