Ministry Apprenticeships

In every generation the church needs leadership. We want to raise up a new generation of preachers, pastors and church planters. Ministry Apprenticeships give people the necessary ministry experience and training to see whether paid full time ministry is for them. Apprentices complete two years of hands on ministry training. This includes:

  • Learning about the Bible, theology and various ministry skills at our Entrust training program
  • Pioneering new ministries and developing strategies for existing ministries
  • Getting mentored, coached and discipled by an experienced pastor
  • Giving Bible and evangelistic talks at various kids, youth, university and church events
  • Discipling people in one2one’s and growth groups
  • Serving in and leading a variety of serving teams at church
At the conclusion of their training, apprentices may decide to pursue theological study, continue in a paid ministry role, or return to secular work and apply the ministry skills they’ve learnt in a volunteer capacity. If you would like to find out more about ministry apprenticeships contact our Ministry pastor Brendan Hurley.
Ministry Apprentices are self-funded and raise their own support. The giving details for each of our apprentices are below if you would like to support them:
